Alderweireld

This man from Antwerp made his Red Devils debut in 2009. Known for his defensive class as central defender and right back and admired for his calmness in build-up and his delightful long ball. Starter and highly dependable in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups and the 2016 EUROs. At the 2016 EUROs he scored the important opening goal in the round of 16 against Hungary. He was a mainstay in the bronze-medal World Cup team.
